Haywards Heath Golf Club is a traditional parkland course with stunning views over the South Downs and towards Ashdown Forest. Haywards Heath Golf Club's 18 hole course was opened in 1924, the product of an enthusiastic local community and the imagination of the legendary master golfer of the era, James Braid. Over the years, many changes have occurred, and our current design advisor is Donald Steele and Company Limited. The outcome of over eighty years of golfing history is a 6,216 yard layout that demands accuracy and judgement rather than power - although on many holes, long hitters will have an edge.
